          Reading
Ephesians 4:7-16.

          Children’s Spot
Puppet held together by strings. Lesson: we need Jesus to hold the strings to enable us to function together effectively.

          Introduction
We are the body of Christ, and are being built up to maturity

1.      Christ’s body is a growing body
Eph 4:12,13,15,16.

2.      Christ Himself causes the growth
Eph 4:11, 13, 15, 16. He provides, His fulness supplies, He is the head, His is the grace. Jn 1:16, “From the fulness of His grace we have received one blessing after another.”

3.      We are the growing parts
Eph 4:15. We grow up into Him.

4.      We are bound together
Eph 4:16. All that is required for cohesion, support and growth is supplied through us.
