In 1842 Samuel was appointed as a Constable for the Parish of Kentisbeare with Blackborough. John Ackland died when he was 25 years old. Abel Ackland died when he was 1 year old. * Abel’s and Thirza’s baptism record was annotated “from children” which might imply they were actually grandchildren.
