Additional Information

On 3rd Feb 1908 Benjamin Newey was interred in the burial plot in Nunhead Cemetery where Charles Willis had been buried in 1893, and where Caroline would be buried in 1916. Bartholomew died a year after his father, Charles, and was buried in the same plot at Nunhead Cemetery on 23 July 1894.

By the 1911 census Victoria Edith and her husband Frederick Moore were living next door to Caroline in 14 Cottage Grove.

Emma Louisa’s husband, Jonas Phillips (1863-1892), died on 1 Oct 1892, two months after their marriage.

Juliana Martha Willis was named Julia Anna Martha Willis on her marriage certificate. Juliana and her husband Henry Every had 4 children: Henry (1897), Sydney (1899), William (1901) and Edward (1903), who sadly died in his first year.

Victoria and her husband Frederick Moore had at least 3 children: Frederick (1907), Edward (1910) and Violet (1912).

The three related families Moore, Willis and Every lived next-door to each other in 12, 13 and 14 Penrose Grove, Penrose Street in 1938.
