Additional Information
When registering their marriage and their children’s births Arthur and Sarah wrote their surname as “Maubry.” When Charlotte married in 1897 she used the name “Alice Charlotte.” Arthur Mowbray’s exact date of death is unknown. It is possible that he died during his military service in India. In the 1891 Census Sarah stated that she was married but in the 1901 Census she stated that she was widowed.
