Additional Information

Mary Letitia and Joseph Grant were just ages 15 and 13 respectively when their mother Clara died.

Mary Letitia and her family emigrated to New Zealand in 1895.

Joseph Grant was apprenticed to his uncle Richard Lambert Rose (Sarah Ann Townsend’s husband) on 14 Jun 1849 and received his freedom on 9 Oct 1856. He lived with his uncle and aunt in 1851.
