- The Lord was with them (Matt 28:20).
- Angels helped them (Acts 1:10,11; Hebrews 1:14).
- They supported each other (Acts 1:13-15; 2:1).
- They prayed to the Lord (Acts 1:14,24).
- Staying together.
- Joining together constantly in prayer.
- Following Peter's lead.
- Establishing the leadership.
- The Holy Spirit is God, just as Jesus is God and the Father is God.
- The Holy Spirit is a Person, different from and yet totally one with Jesus and the Father.
- Jesus baptises His people in the Holy Spirit, to enable them to be His witnesses.
- The Holy Spirit brings the presence and the power of the risen Jesus to the whole group, but also to each one individually.
- Each of us can now know that Jesus is right alongside us in all that we do.

1. Read Galations 3:1-14. What does this teach us about the promise of the Holy Spirit? What should be our own personal response?
2. Browse through the early chapters of Acts again, looking out for passages that speak of unity, togetherness and prayer. What part did such unity and prayer have on the fruitfulness of the Church's ministry. How can we apply this?
