George Hamuel Brown left his wife Phillis some time after the birth of Wilfred (1903), and moved to New Zealand, where he died in 1919. Phillis’ father was living with her at 39 Cross Road, Southwick, when he died. William Mellow was also a widower when he married Phillis. He was buried in the same plot as his first wife, Georgina. |
