Percy Ingram Denyer was a film actor. He served as a gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery during WW1, his stated trade being Gas Inspector. In 1939 he was an army reservist, seconded to the Metropolitan Police, Y Division. He and his wife Kathleen had four daughters: Dorothy Vernon (b. 14/3/08), Thelma Kathleen (b. 30/11/11), Christine Marion and Audrey Allison (both b. 4/2/14). Between 1901 and 1911 Arthur Vernham Denyer became an undertaker, working with his father George in the business premises at 18-19 Lewes Road, Brighton. The business was, then or subsequently, named “Arthur Denyer Funeral Directors,” and this business has continued successfully to this day. He served as a gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery during WW1, his stated trade being Undertaker. No record can be found of Arthur having any children. Mabel Vernham Denyer married dental surgeon Sydney Peatfield. She gave birth to Sydney Rex (b. 20/6/07), Philip Vernham (b. 23/10/12), both of whom also became dental surgeons. Jack and Katie-Ann had three children: Catriona Kiloran (b. 17/12/46) who married Philip Thomas, Charles I P (b. 1950) who married Lynne Watkins, and Fiona E (b. 1958) who married Roland Christopher. |
