Additional Information

Churchstanton, was originally in the county of Devon, but was transferred to Somerset in 1896.

Daughter Betty’s marriage to William Clarke is not certain. There was another Betty Dommett in Churchstanton, born in 1763 to James’ brother Robert and his wife Hannah, and it may have been this Betty Dommett who married William Clarke.
