Death Information – Ronald & Marylyn Townsend, 2026

Both Ronald and Marylyn had become frail and both had suffered falls in November and December 2025.  They had been on the same hospital ward before Christmas. Marylyn died at home, unexpectedly, on 27th December 2025 and Ronald, who had been readmitted to hospital, died in hospital on 10th January 2026.

Ronald Ernest Townsend was born on 4^th May 1928. Marylyn Russell was born on 16^th Feb 1937.

A joint funeral service for them both was held on 16th February 2026 at Elm Ridge Methodist Church, Carmel Road South, Darlington DL3 8DJ.
