Additional Information
Florence had three siblings: Herbert Gabriel (13/8/1900 - 1960), Winifred Lucy (31/12/1902 – 21/12/1991) and Ronaldine (19/7/1908 - 1979). Rather strangely the 1939 Register shows George Cornelius Hamuel living in Camberwell with a Mary Brown and Florence Mary living at 56 Downland Ave, Southwick, with their sons. Ronald and Audrey emigrated to New Zealand. They had four children there: Nicola, Penelope, Fiona and Ian. No marriage record has been found for Cyril and Bertha (Peggy). They had two children: Bruce and Aline. Cyril and Rhoda had four children: Coral, Rhoda, David and Kim. George Cornelius Hamuel Brown and his wife Florence Mary visited New Zealand. They are listed as passengers on the M.V. “Port Vindex” that departed Wellington, N.Z., for the UK on 29 Feb 1964.
