Emma Louisa’s husband, Jonas Phillips (1863-1892), died on 1 Oct 1892, two months after their marriage. Juliana Martha Willis was named Julia Anna Martha Willis on her marriage certificate. Juliana and her husband Henry Every had 4 children: Henry (1897), Sydney (1899), William (1901) and Edward (1903), who sadly died in his first year. Victoria and her husband Frederick Moore had at least 3 children: Frederick (1907), Edward (1910) and Violet (1912). The three related families Moore, Willis and Every lived next-door to each other in 12, 13 and 14 Penrose Grove, Penrose Street in 1938. |

Charles seems to have had a somewhat creative approach to completing official documents, judging from the variety of occupations he lists, and in particular the discrepancies in his age. His true age may be ascertained reliably from his birth and death certificates. |

Bartholomew died a year after his father, Charles, and was buried in the same plot at Nunhead Cemetery on 23 July 1894. |
